Elpidoforos Anastasiou is a visionary leader at the intersection of AI, space science, and education, dedicated to reshaping learning through technology-driven innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. As Head of AI and Innovation at Pascal International Education and GlobEducate’s Project Leader on HiAI and Space Centres, he has spearheaded transformative initiatives that are redefining how students engage with AI, sustainability, and real-world problem-solving.
A PhD candidate at Cyprus University of Technology, Elpidoforos specializes in STEAM education, AI integration, and space exploration, ensuring cutting-edge learning experiences that bridge theory with hands-on application. At the core of his work is the S.P.A.C.E. Initiative – Shaping Pioneers, Advancing Curiosity, and Exploration, a six-year research-driven program designed to integrate AI, sustainability, space science, and entrepreneurship into global education systems.
Through strategic global partnerships, he has successfully launched large-scale, scalable projects that empower both students and educators in real-world scientific exploration and innovation
Key Contributions:
✅ Developed a space exploration education project that is actively implemented in over 85 public schools in Cyprus.
✅ Established nine state-of-the-art Space Centers in five countries, including Paris, Milan, Rome, London, Nice, Larnaca, Limassol, and Nicosia.
✅ Founded the Cyprus Space Foundation and launched Cyprus Space Week, reaching and inspiring over 12,000 students.
✅ Developed and expanded the Einstein Junior Project and AI Sustainable Cities, both of which are currently being implemented in 12 European schools.
